Resumo
Timothy D. Ludwig, Ph.D. (Appalachian State University), Lori H. Diener-Ludwig, Ph.D. (Performance Blueprints) Performance-based instruction ( PBI ) enables trainees to achieve high levels of performance quickly. It directly links training to business results by focusing on desired job results and leading performance, then working backward to engineer training to enable learners to achieve these results. PBI is includes 3 parts: SHOW : Learners are oriented through guided observation (why worth doing, what it accomplishes, how to do it) DO : They learn to do what they have observed by guided practice APPLY : They demonstrate mastery before being turned loose on the job Keywords: Performance-based instruction ( PBI ), Instructional Design, Sellers, Training
